Karel Teich, born 1970, has a degree as Diplom Kaufmann (university degree in Business Administration) and 14 years of professional experience in the field of risk analysis for complex financing structures.

As analyst in credit risk management at a Landesbank, he gathered long-term experience in the approval of credit applications for major domestic clients, project financing, foreign corporate clients as well as acquisition and special financing. He then took over the management of the bank and institution team that was responsible for the valuation and monitoring of all credit risks. Following the onset of the banking crisis in 2007, Mr. Teich supported the management within the crisis management.

Parallel to his work as Analyst and Team Director, he took on various special tasks and was instrumental in his work on strategic projects. Among other things, he was significantly involved in the introduction of a rating system for corporate clients and project financing in overall project Basel II.
