Dr. Torsten Oetting, born 1961, has a PhD in law and 16 years of professional experience.

Along his career path through development banks, banks under public law and specialized institutions, he was engaged as corporate counsel with power of attorney (Prokura), as Department Director for export and project financing and as Associate Director with Prokura for all types of structured credit financing. His scope of responsibility comprised the entire range from financing acquisitions to negotiating and concluding contracts to workout (realization of collaterals). Over the last several years, he focussed on leasing and airplane financing.

In the scope of the credit crisis, Dr. Oetting was engaged at a Landesbank as special representative of the Board of Directors and focused on distressed capital market investments for all forms of structured, credit-based capital market products as well as accompanying the takeover of the bank regarding the formulation and negotiating the contractual documentation.
